Academic Program

As a result of studies by experts from UNRWA and Lane College of Technology in Oregon, USA, the polytechnic’s curricula, program and academic requirements have been established.

The program depends on training and qualifying secondary school graduates through a two-year course of advanced academic program with strong emphasis on practical, experimental component of the curriculum and field training in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic engineering, in addition to other short programs.

The college’s capacity is 600 full-time students, in addition to 400 students in short programs offered for the rehabilitation and retraining of existing work force, former prisoners, semi handicapped individuals and other community groups.

Following are the suggested specializations: -

  1. Mechanical and Industrial Technology

1.1 Automotive Technology with Diesel option.

1.2 Manufacturing and Welding Technology with Computer Numerical Control (CNC) option.

1.3 Agricultural and Industrial Equipment Technology.

  1. Electrical and Electronic Technology:

1.1 Electronics Technician.

1.2 Electrical Installations.

1.3 Drafting Technology.

1.4 Communications.
