- Department
of Electronic Engineering:
The department offers a program of undergraduate
studies specialized in the fields of medical
electronics, electronic systems, power &
industrial electronics and microelectronics
technology.The
research in the department is carried out by
staff members, engineers and senior students in
the areas of microelectronics, digital signal
processing, medical equipment, optoelectronics
& laser technology and electromagnetic field
shielding.
The department has
seven labs for electronic fundamentals,
electronic engineering, electronic manufacturing,
specialized instrumentation, electronic
maintenance, medical electronics and power
electronics.
- Department
of Computer & Control Engineering:
The department offers a program of undergraduate
studies in the fields of computer software,
computer hardware, manufacturing and robotics.The research in the
department is carried out by staff members,
engineers and senior students in the areas of
microprocessors applications, image processing,
nueral network, traffic control and robotics.
The department has
seven labs for basic programming, advanced
programming. Microprocessor, automatic
instruments, automatic control systems, computer
network and computer maintenance labs.
- Department
of Communication Engineering:
The department offers program of undergraduate
studies specialized in the fields of analog &
digital communication systems, telephony,
microwave, data acquisition and optical
communication systems.The research in the department is
carried out by staff members, engineers and
senior students in the areas of signal
processing, networking, satellite communication,
microwave and fiber optics.
The department has
ten labs for advanced communications, digital
signal processing, electrical filters, digital
communications, wave shaping, measuring
instruments, telephone systems, microwave and
antennas, TV and satellite labs.
- Department
of Electrical Power Engineering:
The
department offers a program of undergraduate
studies specialized in the fields of high voltage
engineering, electrical machines, energy
distribution, generation and power stations.
The research in the department is carried out by
staff members, engineers and senior students in
the areas of high voltage dielectrics, preventive
maintenance of electrical machines, gas
discharges, load forecasting, neural networks and
expert systems.
The department has seven labs for electric
circuits, D.C machines, A.C machines, electrical
workshops, electrical equipment maintenance,
power systems protection, and engineering drawing
labs.
